History Fact
Firefighter Darren Hyson came up with the idea of the first Firefighter’s Ball in Austin, TX hosted by the Austin African-American Firefighter’s Association. Firefighter Preston Curtis worked closely with Hyson and helped with the planning and implementation to make this event a reality.
